Clemore Pharmacy
-
Thomas Edison came to Dickson County in the early 1900’s in search of the mineral Cobalt, which was needed for one of his many inventions. While visiting Dickson, he supposedly stayed with a local family not far from Main Street. Mr. Edison used Clemore Pharmacy, located here at 104 North Main Street, as a soil-testing lab when he was in Dickson.

Pop inside for a visit and see the original tile floors, exposed brick and beams, and a lunch counter made from wood salvaged from a recent renovation of the building.
Early 1900's - Clemore Pharmacy is the third building from the left.
