Publications such as the New York Times and Forbes Magazine describe Nashville as the new “It City.” While the population increases and construction booms in Nashville, and all of Metropolitan Davidson’s fourteen counties (which includes Dickson!), the stories of many of middle Tennessee’s unique rural towns and communities are in danger of being rewritten or forgotten. The neighborhood fabric: the unique buildings that make up our cultural history and are in danger of disappearing forever.
